Nixie tube clock

Thursday, March 29, 2007

Remember this? Here is the clock I was working on. Looks great. I especially love the way the numbers glow in and out as the numbers count up. Nixie tubes rock. This project (with a litte teaching from the father-in-law) got me to be quite a good soldering king. The parts were extremely small and took some practicing. This isn't like fixing an amp. Let me know what you think.

The hubcap ball

Thursday, March 08, 2007

This is a sculpture I made a while back. It happened after buying a boatload of old hubcaps at Brimfield flea market. I love reusing stuff as you know. You just can't play with it.
